NOC Engineer L2 Duties and Responsibilities ¿
Provide Expert level of Network and Service Assurance support for core to
enterprise network on routing, switching protocols on Cisco and Velo Cloud
platform. ¿ Troubleshooting the network and service issues while adhering to
SLA/KPIs and ensure target SLA levels are met for each ticket. ¿
Troubleshooting of LAN and WAN network and Service. ¿ LAN/WAN Responsibilities
including IP address management. ¿ Ability to perform LAN configuration, and
good knowledge on Firewalls and Proxy ¿ Working directly with OEMs and Field
Support Staff. ¿ Have previous experience of handling network engineering
activities. ¿ Analysis for root cause determination of issues including
recommendations for improvements. ¿ Other duties as assigned by management. ¿
Education and training of other individuals within the company. ¿ Willing to
work in a rotational shift 24x7 operation Minimum Job Entry Requirements ¿
Bachelor of engineering degree and 6 10 years of experience. ¿ Experience on Large
Enterprise Networks in Service assurance area preferably at L2 or L3 and above
level. ¿ Good hands on experience on switching and Firewalls ¿ Good knowledge
on Routing protocols . ¿ Knowledge of Cisco networks, Related Certifications
(CCNA R&S or CCNP R&S) ¿ Knowledge on F5 is an added advantage ¿ Strong
analytical skills to resolve problems. ¿ Strong oral and written communication
skills to coordinate repair efforts and prepare reports. ¿ Strong interpersonal
skills to coordinate efforts effectively between multiple groups. ¿ Ability to
manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. ¿ Self starter with
attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over long periods of time. ¿
Ability to work ¿on call¿ support as needed
