Platform Manager Profile
Qualifications
- Experience with ITSM – ITIL Framework
- Good written and verbal
communication skills
- At least 10 years IT work
experience, with at least 7 years in managing projects.
- Min. 5-6 years of Technology
Infrastructure project management experience in banking industry.
- PMP (Project Management
Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Project Management
certification or successful completion of a recognized project management
curriculum is required.
- Excellent communication and
collaboration skills
- Demonstrate sense of urgency
and undertake necessary steps to fulfil internal procedures/processes in
accordance with compliance and governance framework.
- Good team lead with strong
interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in documentation using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Responsibilities
- Expert in team management techniques and project coordination
- Productive communication skills
towards all participants
- Expert knowledge of the
relevant organizational infrastructures such as cloud computing, intranet
and network architecture
- Should have basic understanding
of the infrastructure elements (Compute Storage, Network, Database, End
User devices)
- Technically should be sound to
understand the technology architecture, design framework and control flow
of the applications/products/systems.
- Good understanding of the
Banking domain is a must.
- Stake holder management,
Resource planning and management, vendor management governance.
- Coordinate internal resources
and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Creates the project budget and
ensures the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible.
- Develop comprehensive project
plans, schedules, budget estimates, resource allocation, and risk
management strategies for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate and Coordinate with
stakeholders to identify and establish projects goals and objectives.
- Ensure project requirements and
deliverables are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to all
stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress,
identify deviations from plans and recommend timely corrective actions to
keep projects on track.
- Ensure all project activities
comply with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Reporting project status and
implementing risk/issue mitigation strategies.
- Able to priorities assignments
whilst working on multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to deliver high-quality
work in a timely and in a right-first time manner.
- Strong passion and desire to
learn new technologies.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances and
manage multiple priorities
