Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic Android
Infotainment Test Engineer with 4 years of experience to join our team.
The
successful candidate will contribute to the testing and validation of our
Android infotainment and Instrument Cluster systems, ensuring they meet our
high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute testing of Android infotainment
systems, including HMI testing, vehicle-level testing, bench-level
testing, and Instrument Cluster testing such as Tell-tale
testing, Warnings, and Gauges.
- Carry out both performance and
non-performance testing of the IVI system to verify system
reliability and user experience.
- Collaborate with the development team to
gain insights into system design and integration.
- Create and execute test plans, test
cases, and contribute to automation efforts.
- Analyze test results, identify defects,
and document issues in a detailed manner.
- Align testing activities with UDS
protocol, CAN/CANFD protocol, and CAPL scripting under
the guidance of a Test Lead.
- Participate in data logging and
analysis to support quality assurance.
- Engage in Agile SCRUM methodology for
project management.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, X-ray,
and the Robotic framework for tracking and automation.
- Operate diagnostic and development tools
like CANoe, CANalyzer, VehicleSpy, and VT System
HIL for testing and simulation.
- Support in tracking key performance
indicators (KPIs) for infotainment features including BT, WI-FI,
BYOD, Connectivity, BT IOP, Settings, and Monkey Testing.
- Assist in estimating and managing the
validation cycle testing and sanity cycle testing.
- Work within the approved efforts and
collaborate with the customer on agreed KPIs.
- Communicate with the customer regarding
key metrics and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in software
testing, with exposure to Android infotainment systems and Instrument
Cluster testing being advantageous.
- Understanding of Android OS, automotive
infotainment systems, Instrument Cluster functionalities, and test
methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools
and frameworks.
- Knowledge of UDS and CAN/CANFD protocols,
CAPL scripting, and data analysis.
- Experience with tools like CANoe,
CANalyzer, VehicleSpy, and VT System HIL is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
A
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is
preferred
